You would think that with storms and freezing temperatures at this time of year, most of us would prefer to hunker down beside a warm fire and read a book or stream a movie. But when it comes to serious home buyers, the days and weeks after New Year's day mark the beginning of their home shopathon!
These buyers have waited for the holidays to pass and are looking at their TO-DO list. Buying their next home is a priority and they are keen to making it happen. So if they come across a good property that is fairly priced, they tend to snap it up now rather than wait till later in the spring when there might be a bigger inventory to choose from, but not guaranteed this same type of home will be available.
So if you are thinking about selling your home and listing it for sale in the spring...think again! There are buyers out there now who may find your home is exactly what they are prepared to buy, NOW!
